Uganda Safari tour to Queen Elizabeth National park, Murchison

Day1: Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park
Rise up early in the morning for breakfast and a safari
driver guide will be ready to pick you from your overnight accommodation and you
drive you to Bwindi forest National Park in South Western Uganda. Bwindi forest
National; park is home to the renowned mountain gorillas that freely live in
ever green prehistoric Bwindi forest. Uganda is luck to host about half the
total number of these apes. This drive goes through undulating hills and wonderful
meandering rivers. The time to get to Bwindi Park is bout 9 to 10 hours. Dinner

Day 2: Gorilla
trekking
After breakfast, you will head to the ranger station for briefing
but do not forget your gorilla trekking gears. The ranger guide will accompany
you into the forest top start searching for the gorillas. You will try to tress
where they were last seen the previous night and the gorillas normally get to
see you before you do. When you finally get to see them, stay with them for
just an hour and get back to the lodge and relax.
Day 3 Drive to Queen
Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth
National park. In case the roads are passable, go through Ishasha sector the home
of the tree climbing lions. This biosphere reserve has a number of enchanting
animals including the lions, herds of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, water
bucks, bush bucks, Uganda kobs, hyenas and so much more. They fantastic
background of the undulating Rwenzori ranges makes a fantastic view as the
backdrop of the park. This scenic drive is about 5 to 6 hours on a scenic road.

Day 4: Game drive and
Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel
Rise up early in the morning for a game drive on the rich
crater lakes sector. You may have the chance of seeing the early rise emerge
from there overnight hide outs while the nocturnal return to there day hide
outs. You may have the chance of spotting animals like the lions, leopards,
hyenas, elephants and several others that roam around the park. Return for a
late day breakfast and after lunch, head to the piers for a lunch cruise on
Kazinga Channel. This is like the congregation centre for animals to cool off
the day’s heat and quench there thirst. Families of these animals can bee seen
a long the shores and a number of birds flock the shores like the Egyptian geese,
greater and lesser flamingos, egrets, kingfisher, marabou stock to mention but
a few. Return the lodge and relax
.
Day 5: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Having enjoyed your Uganda safari tour in Queen Elizabeth
National Park, proceed to Murchison Falls National park. This drive is about 8
to 10 hours but very entertaining. Get there late in the evening.

Day 6 Game drive and
Lunch cruise to the bottom of the falls
Enjoy a game drive in the northern sector of the park where
you may have the opportunity of spotting animals like lions, giraffes, water
bucks, hyenas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys and so much more. Get back to the
lodge for late day breakfast and head to the river for an afternoon launch
cruise to Murchison Falls. These falls are energetic as they get down the high cliff
of about 40 meters to touch the base and continue with the Nile course. A number
of animals can also be seen along the shores. Return the lodge and relax.
Day 7 Drive back to Kampala
