Gorilla trekking in Rwanda has been one of the challenging activities as a result of tedious measures to apply for a visa in Rwanda. Several tourists have been facing it rough to apply for Rwanda visa especially the delay in responding to the application allowing you into the country. The government of Rwanda has therefore revised their immigration policy and exempted some countries from going through the hassle of securing a Rwanda Visa prior to arrival.  Starting 1st November 2014, nationals from countries like Australia, Germany, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, UK and USA will receive a Rwandan entry visa and pay a fee of US $30 on arrival. This is a great promotion to the tourism sector of Rwanda since most of the clients they receive are residents of those countries.

Gorilla trekking safaris in Rwanda starts as early as 0800hrs and in case you hope to trek gorillas as early as that you must have set and organised your gorilla trekking gear. It is time saving to carry just your trekking kit to the ranger station for briefing than packing your gorilla trekking gears early in the morning. You may forget some of the important items.

To be more organised and be sure of trekking gorillas in Rwanda, you must have a Rwanda Visa prior to arrival at the border because the time you may take obtain it is long and may delay.
