Day 1 Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park.

There favourite delicacy is bamboo, fruits, soft stems, leaves to mention but afew. Stay with them for just one permitted hour.

3 day Flying gorilla tracking tours in Uganda

Day 2 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park

Rise up early in the morning for breakfast and carry your packed lunch, head to the ranger station for briefing. You will be advised on the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking like how to treat the animals, when to eat while in the jungle, what to carry while searching for gorillas and several others. The ranger guide will later escort you into the forest to start searching for the gorillas. The time of finding them is not really clear as they move searching for food and other items for the day. Keep following the trail were they were last seen the previous day. When you are finally with them, wait to take there photographs and wait for instructions form the ranger guide.  Use a flash less camera to take there pictures and keep observing there moves for just one permitted hour return to the lodge and relax.

Booking a gorilla trekking permit for  in Uganda or Rwanda is best at least 6 months to the trekking date. Since gorilla permits are sold at first come first serve, this method may not be absolutely effective because one may walk in immediately and purchase all the gorilla permits you requested availability for before making up your mind so taking you back to the hassle of finding available dates again.

Gorilla trekking safaris must take at least 3 days because you have to count the day of arrival, gorilla trek the next day and finally return day. You must keep your voices low because gorillas are very sensitive to intruders, ask for assistance from the ranger guide in case you wish to easy your self, do not litre in the pack, keep up with the pace of others  so as not to get lost in the wilderness and so much more.

What to do while in the presence of gorillas
Gorilla trekking may be enjoyable but you must know that gorillas are wild animals that may change behaviour at any time. Gorillas are known for being serene but when they get agitated, they may become furious. Don’t use a camera with a flash because this makes the gorillas feel suspicious about your presence. The distance from the gorillas must be at least 7 meters away to reduce on the chances of spreading any communicable disease.
