Rwanda gorilla tracking tour in Volcanoes national Park with

Day 1: arrive in
Rwanda and Kigali City tour
On arrival at Kigali Airport, a driver guide will be waiting
for you to transfer you to Kigali city for a memorable city tour. Rwanda is
known for being a land of a thousand hills and this is evident as you drive to
get to the main city centre. Enjoy a city tour in Kigali where you may have the
chance of visiting some of the still surviving victims of the genocide error
visit the genocide museum and several other interesting spots of Rwanda. Drive
to Ruhengeri province where you will spend the night at
Sabyinyo Silverback lodge/ Virunga lodge, Mountain gorilla
view lodge/Kinigi Guest house
Day 2 Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Having taken your breakfast, carry your packed lunch to the
ranger station for briefing. You will be taught how to behave while in the
presence of the mountain gorillas. Gorillas are very keen animals to intruders
in there vicinity so you must be very careful as you trek to see the gorillas. The
way to the gorillas in Rwanda is known for being steep as the gorillas at times
hike to the top of the close by ridges in search for food. You have to lower
your voices because gorillas may become suspicious of your presence. When you
finally get to see them, stand at a distance of about 7 meters to avoid direct
contacts. Take there pictures and only one hour is permitted for you in the
presence of the gorillas.
Day 3: Drive to
Nyungwe National park for Chimpanzee trekking
After the gorilla trekking experience, drive to Nyungwe
national park for chimpanzee trekking. This forested National park is very interesting
to look at because of its beautiful canopy and incredible tree species. Get
into the park premises and relax at
Nyungwe Forest Lodge/ Gisaku Guest House
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park
Rise up for breakfast and head to the ranger station for
briefing. You will be escorted by the ranger guide to search for chimpanzees in
there habitat. They live freely in the forest with other primates like the l’hoest,
black and white colobus monkeys, ververt monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, baboons
and several others. When you get to see
them stay them for just an hour and get back to the lodge to relax. The park
has a rich avian life of over 310 unique bird species too which you may get a
chance to spot.
Day 5: Return home
after gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking
Having enjoyed your 5 day gorilla trekking experience and
chimpanzee tracking in Rwanda, drive to the airport to catch up with your home
bound flight.
