Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park

Having taken your breakfast, the driver guide will pick you from your overnight accommodation and take you to Bwindi forest national park the home of the mountain gorillas. The drive may take about 9 to 10 hours on a scenic road that passes through undulating hills of Kisoro. You finally arrive late in the evening and check in into your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast, you head to the anger station for briefing since you have to go gorilla trekking. Your ranger guide leads you into the forest to search for the gorillas. While you trek to see the gorillas, he explains a lot about the forest and points to at some of the inhabitants like the grey checked mangabey, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, variety of birds and others. Using your garden gloves, get hold of tree branches or close by grass in case you are sliding. Finally you get face to face with the gorillas and stand at a distance of about 7meters taking their photographs and watching them play for just one hour. Return to your lodge and relax or take an optional tour to the Batwa villages.



Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth national Park
In case the way is perfect, drive  to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha sector, you may be chanced to find the tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants, water bucks, bush bucks, buffaloes to mention but a few. The drive is about 4 to 5 hours but picturesque as you sing the iced peak of Rwenzori ranges. After lunch, head for a game drive in the park and return to the lodge to relax.

Day 4: Game drive and launch Cruise
Rise up early in the morning for a game drive in the crater lakes region of the park. Here are a number of both wet and dry crates with there incredible history like Lake Nyaminuka that emits a putrid smell is taken as the hospital for wild animals. Animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, bush bucks, Uganda kobs, water bucks, duikers and several others. Take some pictures and return to your lodge for lunch. Enjoy an after noon launch cruise on Kazinga channel which is the congregation ground for most of the animals. Schools of hippos, crocodiles, herds of buffaloes, elephants, all converge at the shore. Birds like greater and lesser flamingos, Kingfisher, cattle egrets, Egyptian geese and several others find comfort on these shores. Return to the lodge and relax.

Day 5 Return home
After your affordable and budget gorilla trekking and wildlife safari, drive to Entebbe to catch up with your home bound flight.
